Refund & Returns Policy

Applies to: WordPress fixed-price projects (Starter / Business / Pro), Care Plan subscriptions (Care 5 / Care 10 / Care 20), and related professional services.

Note: I sell services and digital work only—there are no physical “returns.” This policy explains when refunds may be available.

  1. Scope & Definitions

    • Fixed-price projects: One-time builds (Starter, Business, Pro) billed per agreed scope.
    • Care Plans (subscriptions): Hourly maintenance buckets (Care 5 / Care 10 / Care 20) billed monthly or yearly.
    • Milestones: Phases such as discovery, design, development, launch.
    • Work performed: Time logged, deliverables created, planning, or third-party costs incurred for your project.
  2. Fixed-Price Projects (Starter / Business / Pro)

    1. Deposits & Scheduling

      • A deposit reserves my production slot.
      • Fully refundable within 7 calendar days of payment if no kickoff has occurred and no work has been performed.
      • Non-refundable after kickoff (or once any work begins), as time is allocated and costs may be incurred.
    2. Milestone Payments

      • If you cancel after a milestone has started, any refund is based on work not yet performed.
      • Completed/partially completed work and third-party costs (licenses, stock assets, etc.) are non-refundable.
      • If a milestone was prepaid and not started, it is refundable.
    3. Quality & Revisions

      • Each package includes specific revision rounds; if deliverables do not match the agreed scope, I will correct them.
      • Changes beyond scope are quoted separately and are not grounds for a refund.
    4. Project Pauses

      • If a project is inactive due to client delays for 15+ days, I may temporarily archive it. A restart fee may apply to reschedule the slot.
  3. Care Plans (Subscriptions)

    1. Monthly Plans (Care 5 / Care 10 / Care 20)

      • Cancel anytime—cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle.
      • No refunds for the current paid period or unused hours; unused hours roll over 1 month only.
    2. Yearly Plans (25% Off)

      • Billed annually at a discount.
      • 14-day cooling-off: If no work has been performed in the first 14 days, you may request a full refund.
      • After 14 days, yearly payments are non-refundable.
      • If some hours were used within the first 14 days, I’ll deduct used hours at your plan’s effective hourly rate and refund the remainder.
    3. Hour Usage & Overages

      • Hours cover maintenance, updates, minor enhancements, and support.
      • Overages (work beyond included hours) require pre-approval and are billed separately.
  4. Digital Products / Licenses (if applicable)

    • Refunds are considered within 14 days only when the product does not function as described and I can reproduce the issue and cannot resolve it.
    • Access already used for license activations, or products altered by you or third-party code, may not be refundable.
  5. Non-Refundable Items

    • Work already performed (time logged, deliverables produced).
    • Deposits after kickoff or any work started.
    • Third-party/pass-through costs (premium plugins/themes, domain/hosting, stock assets, non-recoverable fees).
    • Discovery/strategy workshops once delivered.
    • The current billing period of a monthly Care Plan and any unused Care Plan hours.
  6. How to Request a Refund

    1. Email [email protected] with your order number, product/plan, and reason.
    2. If related to a bug/issue, include screenshots or URLs so I can verify and attempt resolution.
    3. I’ll confirm receipt within 2 business days and respond with next steps.
    4. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank/payment provider may take 5–10 business days to post the credit.
  7. Chargebacks & Disputes

    • Please contact me first—most issues can be resolved quickly.
    • Initiating a chargeback without first requesting support or a refund may be considered a breach of my terms; I will provide documentation of deliverables to the payment provider.
  8. Changes, Taxes & Currency

    • My prices and policies may change; the version in effect at the time of purchase applies.
    • Taxes, if any, are added at checkout.
    • All amounts are charged in USD; your bank may apply conversion fees.
